Джорджия Элленвуд занимается семиборьем – легкоатлетическая дисциплина, включающая соревнования в 7 видах легкой атлетики (бег на 100 м с барьерами, прыжок в высоту, толкание ядра, бег на 200 м, прыжок в длину, метание копья и бег на 800 м).

Девушка проживает и тренируется в Ванкувере, она входит в канадскую сборную.

Элленвуд неоднократно завоевывала награды на различных соревнованиях.

Canada is the first country to withdraw their athletes from the 2020 Olympics. We’ve put in so much time and effort to line up our performances precisely for one moment. I feel lost, but I know this is the right decision. I hope others soon follow – we are a team now more than ever . . Safety is always first. I’m heart broken now. but I know I’ll have more moments like this ^ soon enough. We will keep working♥️

WOW! Just got back from Portland to recover and refocus before I head into pre-season. I have no doubt I’m partnered with the right team – they care about me as a athlete and as a person. It was incredibly motivating and I think I’m ready to take on anything. Except an 800m. Ha ha ..

I’ve been stalling to make this post.. My goal is the 2020 Olympics. It has always been. But I need to be at my best when the time comes. I’ve decided to end my season early , and get healthy for what’s coming. I had to withdraw from the Canadian Nationals and the Pan American games. . . I was heartbroken at first, but then relieved. Sometimes the toughest decisions are the smartest. I don’t want to miss my chance.
